It is my very great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Suzanne. I have known Suzanne since February 05 when she began to work as my dog walker. Having been let down by another walker, Suzanne stepped in at the last moment and has proven to be extraordinarily reliable. My dog clearly adores her and I would trust her to take him anywhere and take the best possible care of him. In addition to being an outstanding walker, Suzanne has a great deal of initiative and is completely trustworthy, she has my highest possible recommendation. - Dr Moore, Seaford I recently used your cat-sitting service for the first time and wanted to let you know how completely happy I was with the service. Bev was amazing and so lovely - a truly caring person. The house and cat were both in great shape when I returned and for the first time, I came home to find that my garden and house plants had survived my absence! South Yarra I was very impressed with Belinda’s ability to put me at ease to show me straight away she was capable of doing the job competently. Whilst we were away I called and asked her to do something for me which wasn’t a problem, she didn’t hesitate in putting herself out a little when the cats needed it. She returned calls promptly and we came home to two happy cats. Mail was collected and instructions relating to plants were followed well. Our carer plans had fallen through due to an ill neighbour and with 4 days till going away you took our booking and along came Gill. She had an excellent rapport with Keb & Muddy and even bravely took them for a walk. (16 month old Kelpie brothers!) She was a godsend and have told all neighbours of her excellent care. We can now look forward to our breaks knowing that they will be well taken care of. Thank you for providing a great service which makes our days away much easier. - Joanne, Glen Iris We just wanted to say how absolutely delighted we were with Helena who looked after our two Airedale Terriers while we were overseas this Christmas. The previous Christmas, we had placed Harry and Rosie in a boarding kennel for the first time ever, and when we collected them after our 10 day holiday they had both lost a lot of weight (Harry was emaciated) and both came out with terrible diahorrea/gastro. They both had vet visits afterwards and both ended up on a course of medication. They also needed a good bath despite the kennels having "hydrobathed" them before collection. Needless to say we felt terrible and resigned never to use kennels ever again. We know that looking after our two Airedales can be a real handful, especially to walk, and entrusting them to just anyone was a real dilemma for us. However, when we saw how Helena was with them, we were completely sold! She handled them beautifully and showed genuine interest and affection for our little terrorists. While we were away, Helena also kept us informed and assured via text message that our babies were doing well and we know she spent extra time with them. We will definitely use her again. Your service is just sensational. And if the rest of your staff are anything near as wonderful as Helena, then your business can only continue to grow! It was great to leave her with someone that knew would give Blossom lots of attention and cuddles and who would spoil her just as much as I do. I knew that Blossom would be well cared for after meeting Maree. I loved the added touch of the radio being left to classical music to give Blossom a bit of company. I do that now when we go out. When we went away for the weekend to a wedding in March we were so pleased to be able to leave our Russian blues at home knowing they would be looked after and that they’d be in their own environment. Our cats are strictly indoor dwellers, so our house is their world! We had only ever boarded them once and even though the cattery looked great and the people were nice we were really upset to find that our cats were so unhappy at the end of it – our boy had visibly lost weight in only 3 days which led us to the conclusion that it couldn’t have been a nice experience for them! We are really happy that we can use the Lonely Pets Club – so much so that we’ve booked you again for the June long weekend!
