Paul was a delight to deal with and the animals were well cared for. I felt confident leaving them both in his care and he sent us some lovely photos to show how happy they were. Next time we go away I will definitely be using your service again and have already recommended it to many people.

On meeting Paul we immediately felt very comfortable leaving our pet with him, especially as this was the first time we had used this type of service. All prearranged walks were completed and our dog was very happy and healthy on our return. Paul also took the extra time to check up and converse daily with my aged mother who was house minding at the time. Additionally, Paul updated us on ours dog's condition via SMS & MMS which was both unexpected and extremely welcomed. Fantastic! Paul knew what he was doing, and seemed very efficient, practical and competent. I felt very confident leaving Louis in his care. I loved receiving the texts letting me know that all was progressing well. When I returned Louis was happy, well, and had obviously received the very best of attention. Paul called round, and from the greeting he got from Louis I know he obviously took time with him and did everything he could to make Louis feel happy and content.

I would like to say a big thankyou to Paul and Lili for taking great care of our 2 British Shorthair cats. Previously when we have left them in catterys they have always come home anxious and very thin due to not eating. We heard about the Lonely Pets service and decided to give it a go. The daily fee is very reasonable and Paul and Lili put our bins in and out which was really great. They also sent us some pictures via text of the boys eating their dinner so I wasn't worried about them not eating. We will absolutely use them again and recommend them to everyone. Thanks.

Just wanted to pass on our thanks to Paul for the care of our animals whilst we were away. Both cat and dog seemed very content on our return (as always), but what really impressed us was what Paul also did. Paul sent photos to our mobile whilst we were away, poo patrol completed in the back yard, pet dishes and feeding area clean and washed and everything was as neat as a pin. Paul was excellent, however, our dogs simply fretted without us. Having never used the service before we were not sure how the dogs would cope. Unfortunately, we had complaints from a neighbour and the council actually got involved. Paul handled this situation extremely well speaking with both the neighbour and the council on our behalf. Having said that, due to the issue with the barking and the complaint from a neighbour we will probably not be able to use Lonely Pets Club again. As I said this was no reflection on Paul, in fact he was excellent and we would have not hesitation in recommending him to others.

We really appreciated receiving the sms's from Paul while we were away to let us know that Kitty was happy and well :) It was great to meet Paul beforehand - we were very happy that he rang and suggested a meetup before we went away, rather than just leaving the key outside for a stranger to come in and look after our cat. I was nervous about leaving Alley home for the first time instead of taking him to a cattery but I won't be again! Paul was great, he sent me a text to let me know Alley was doing well and sent me pics a couple of days later. Nice to arrive home to a happy, relaxed, well fed cat without having the stress and hassle of car trip to/from the cattery to pick him up which usually leaves me wondering whether going away for a holiday was worth the hassle at all! Paul contacted me to arrange a meeting/home visit prior to my departure and to collect the key. This was great as I had the opportunity to show him, in person, where everything was located and what my requirements were. He was punctual and seemed genuinely interested in providing a good service which I found to be very reassuring. He provided me with updates via text messages whilst I was away which was terrific and was able to extend my booking at the last minute. It was the longest time that I had left my two cats at home alone for, and I returned home to find the house had been very well looked after and the cats were healthy and in great condition. It gives me great peace of mind to know that I can go away on holiday and that my cats will be in good hands. Thanks again Paul.
