Hi, I'm Elizabeth Quinn, the owner of Lonely Pets Club Port Phillip.
Together with my sister Debra, we were the first to buy a Lonely Pets Club Franchise, being the South Melbourne franchise, which was very exciting. We loved it so much, we ended up purchasing the Port Philip franchise as well! We share our home with Bono, Coco and Shalimar, our feline family.
I grew up in the Melbourne Bayside suburb of Bentleigh, with my cats, dogs, fish and rabbits, and then moved to Queensland with my family for a short time, only to return to marvellous Melbourne. I moved to South Melbourne in 1983 and love it so much have never left! As a child and into my adult life, I have always been an animal lover, shared my life with either a cat or dog, and always wanted to be involved with animals. I am now living my dream. A wise man once said, 'if you are doing something you love you will never work another day in your life'!
My "pre Lonely Pets Club" working life has been predominately in the Telecommunications Industry, working as Team Manager and Supervisor in the Customer Service and Credit Management areas.
In 2005, I had the pleasure in becoming a part time casual carer for Lonely Pets Club. This was a wonderful opportunity for me to be involved with my passion and love of animals. I continued being part of the LPC team as a casual carer until 2008 when I left my full time job in the Telco and became a full time LPC carer. In March 2009, my sister Debra and I were thrilled to be able to purchase Lonely Pets Club's first ever franchise in South Melbourne.
I currently manage a team of dedicated and animal loving pet carers, to help care for all pets in and around our local area. We take great pride in the service we provide and love meeting and interacting with both pet owners and pets on a daily basis. Having such a dedicated and local pet care team simply means that you will always have a Lonely Pets Club Carer only a phone call away. We will come in and love your pets and walk your dogs when you need us.
I look forward to caring for your beloved pets and would welcome any suggestions on how you think we could improve our service.
My bookings all come through the central Lonely Pets Club office. If you'd like to book, please call 1300 CUDDLE or complete an enquiry form.
