Hi, I am Leigh Hill and together with my husband Mick, are so excited to be the first Lonely Pets Club franchisees in Tasmania.

We have both grown up in Hobart's northern suburbs and we can't remember a time when we were not surrounded by animals. We currently have a little menagerie on the outskirts of Hobart and share our home with; Vinnie Barbarino the Irish donkey who is best friends with Albi the goat; Deloris our cat and Randal our rainbow lorikeet enjoy a healthy respect for one another and finally Olive and Henry our dogs are best buds who are inseparable.

Henry and Olive love walking with us daily, and we love taking them on special trips to the park or the beach. Randal is never to be forgotten, he won't allow you to ignore him and will imitate the smoke detector to get your attention. Deloris rules the roost and can quite often be found in the company of Albi and Vinnie in the paddock.

We have spent the last 20 years balancing the travel associated with corporate sales and fire service shift work with the happiness of our beasties. Consequently we were always scratching around trying to find someone to look after our house while we were away.

There are no kennels for donkeys & goats and Deloris hated the cattery. They are so much happier at home and we feel less anxious when we are away. On a recent visit home my sister said "she came across this fantastic service in Melbourne, we should ring and organise for Lonely Pets Club to look after our animals". This lead us to purchasing the LPC franchise in Hobart, so that other people in our area could use this fantastic service.

The opportunity to work with animals everyday is a dream come true and our aim is to provide the same love and attention to all pets in our care as we would our own. We are really looking forward to meeting you and your pets.

I currently manage a team of dedicated pet carers to help care for all the lonely pets throughout our local area. I take great pride in my team and the service we provide and love getting to meet and interact with both pet owners and pets on a daily basis.

Having such a dedicated and local pet care team simply means that you will always have a Lonely Pets Club Carer only a phone call away. We will come in to love your pets and walk your dogs when you need us.
