The format and content of our training days were put together through the coordinated efforts
of LPC staff members Sarah (an experienced Vet Nurse),
Ros (a trained Animal Technician) and Belinda (the vice president the Knox Dog Obedience School, also an Animal
Technician).
Topics include animal first aid, canine and feline body language, and obedience training.
The course gives our carers the tools to communicate more effectively with their charges, to handle
unexpected situations and just to enjoy spending time with the pets they are caring for by having
a better understanding for them.
Our staff training days are much enjoyed by all - what could be better than spending a day
chatting about pets?
