A big WELCOME to Nick Keeling, who took over the Lonely Pets Club Preston franchise on the 10th of October. You may have already met Nick as he has been working as a carer for us this year. A huge animal lover, Nick has spent much of his time volunteering for animal shelters so he is very happy to have found a career working with animals every day.

Survey results to last month's question "Would You Choose the Same Type of Pet Again?": 90% of cat owners and 85% of dog owners said they would choose the same type and breed of pet again. For the rest, the problem was often the amount of fur their pet had - leading to grooming, allergy or moulting issues. Another common reason was that their pet was overly anxious or excitable.

Do you or a friend own a website? You could win a $100 Myer gift voucher by linking to our website from yours. Just email us to let us know where the link is. Winner will be drawn at the end of November.

She has spent $1000s trying to find her beloved Beau over 6 years and has a website, www.findingBeau.com, dedicated to this purpose.
