What's happening at Lonely Pets Club?

We are very excited to announce that Laura will become Lonely Pets Club's very FIRST interstate Franchisee in Sydney, with Lonely Pets Club Vaucluse due to start trading on 10 April 2010.

Congratulations to Elizabeth Quinn, who has just taken on a second Lonely Pets Club franchise, less than a year after taking on her first in March last year. We now have 6 franchised territories in Melbourne.

As reported at franchise.net.au, we just had our busiest Christmas period ever. We received lots of fantastic feedback for all our franchisees and carers, which we've passed on to them. It is always great for them to hear how much their efforts are appreciated so thank you.

A belated "Happy Birthday" to Mutant the cat, who recently celebrated his 21st birthday. His owner told the Herald Sun "He's not bad for an antique. Just like anyone who is over 100 she is a bit slow, has a bit of arthritis and is hard of hearing."

• Mo-B the Maltese picks out only bone shaped biscuits from the other shapes to bury.. Crazy? That sounds pretty smart to me!
• Myah the ferret dragged a 24 pack of Kleenex Toilet Rolls down the hall and under her cage sounds.. Crazy? or a clear attempt to get a role in a Kleenex advert?
• Rusty learnt that he can't fit through cat flaps after getting his head stuck in one (and breaking the glass door it was in).. Crazy? Or just really keen to get indoors?
• Buddy got his head stuck in an easter egg box, fell off the table, worked himself free... then stuck his head back in the box. Hmmm... now that is a little crazy...
