This month - are you feeding your rabbit a healthy diet?

Pets in the News - read about how a Brunswick woman's dog fought off her attacker. Have you heard about the emerging disease Rat Bite Fever? - if you have a pet rat you should be aware of it.

What's happening at Lonely Pets Club?

This month LPC franchisee Julie Fisher appeared on the front page of the Moonee Valley Weekly magazine (left).

Congratulations to LPC carer Gemma who gave birth to a gorgeous little girl recently. Cailyn is treating her Mum well and already sleeping for 8 hours at night at just 2 months.

Lonely Pets Club founders Justin and Jo are awaiting the arrival of their third child, due on 16th August. We might have to get a few tips on getting babies to sleep from Gemma as we've never had much success in that area!

Member News

Q: Which is the dog? This isn't actually an LPC member but we love this picture and thought you might too!

Email us a funny or interesting tale about your own pet we may include it in our newsletter next month.

Pets in the News

A recent assault in Brunswick reminded us of why we love our loyal furry friends so much. If you missed it in the news, read how a woman's dog fought off her attacker.

The RSPCA this month launched a campaign calling for the boycott of pet shop puppies which are often sourced from puppy farms. To find a new pet, visit Good For Dogs to search shelters on line instead!

Having grown up with pet rats, I know personally what wonderful pets they make. However the new threat of rat bite fever means that owners must to be careful when handling their pet.

Thanks for reading! If you know someone who could benefit from this, feel free to forward it to them!
