Hi Kerryn, we just wanted to pass on our thanks for taking such good care of Charlie and Boston while we were away. We are incredibly appreciative that seeing the person looking after our dogs was not physically capable of cleaning up after them, you took it upon yourself to keep the backyard clean on top of walking them. This was above and beyond the expected duties and very much appreciated. We are also grateful for the tip you provided us of how to get the dogs out of one of their bad habits. We are trying this now and will let you know how we get on. Both Charlie and Boston looked very fit and happy when we got home so they clearly enjoying having you walk them. It was reassuring to know that they were in such good hands in our absence and we could have no hesitation in recommending your services to others in future. While gone, she had to deal with irrate neighbours as the dogs kept on escaping and hunting shoes. Kerryn suggested an electric fence. It has worked wonders. One of the dogs thought it was worth marking the fence line with scent and has not returned since. Thanks again for a quick solution to an ongoing problem. - Aleks, Narre Warren Danielle and office staff, I had contacted numerous establishments in and around Melbourne plus in Adelaide to look after my two dogs. Nothing suited my dogs or my needs and I was starting to stress as I had a family wedding to attend that Saturday in Adelaide. Finally, on the Monday evening I bumped into the Lonely Pets Club website which I never knew such a business existed. However, it was after office hours. On Tuesday within three and a half hours of speaking to Jo, an understandably nervous Danielle was sent to meet my dogs and get especially aquainted with Chester who tends to be very protective. Danielle came Wednesday as planned and I observed my two dogs reaction allowing a stranger into their backyard. Needless to say, it all went really well. Thursday I set off and made the hens night by 5 minutes. Monday I rang and extended care for my two dogs up until and including Thursday. Jo, thank you greatly for such great service on such sort notice. Danielle, thanks for the care shown to Lady and Chester which eliminated the stress. I most gladly will be using your services again. - Melissa, Cheltenham Danielle's care for our two cats was absolutely Superb. From the first introduction when she asked me about the cat's temperaments, she took the time to gently acquaint herself with the very nervous cat, just holding out her hand so he could sniff her scent. He seemed to relax straight away. A real way with animals and a lovely girl. - Helen, Sandringham Just a note to say a big “Thank You” to Simon for taking such great care of Billy and Banjo whilst we were away. They were in great shape and were obviously well exercised and looked after . Given the short notice, I wasn’t sure we were going to find someone to care for them, but Danielle came to the rescue. We had been in touch with her over the phone beforehand and had to take Hershey to the vet the day before we left and had to leave her with some extra work with eardrops etc. She was more than happy to help and left us a lovely note about the girls. It is really nice to know that the girls are being so well looked after while we are away. The services you and your staff provide are fantastic and take away the stress of what to do with the dogs and our fish while we are away (we have a marine tank which is very hard to keep so the fish need to be fed on a daily basis). Please pass on our thanks to Danielle for a job really well done! - Tammy, Malvern East Hi, I just wanted to thank Danielle for taking such wonderful care of Dudley & Claude whilst we were away. Though it was obivious on our return they were very pleased to see us,(Claude almost licked Bill's moustache off) it was also obivious that they were content, well feed and as relaxed as we were. Our home was tidy, the mail and bins brought in and I was especially touched by the note Danielle left, letting us know how they went under her care as I was a little concerned about Dudley as he can be very aloof with anyone other than myself. Knowing he joined in the playtime after a couple of days made me smile, and realize that choosing your service rather than putting the "Boys" in a cattery was the best thing to do. Bill and I will definately be using your service again later this year when we go away - consider us permanate customers - again thank you so much Danielle - I no longer will stress about leaving them - and just to let you know we never taught Claude to fetch the ball he did it from the time we got him, it's one of his many little antics that make "ratface" so endearing Warmest regards Ellie - Ellie, Upper Ferntree Gully I would like to thank Pam Geary so much for looking after my pets Mac & Max for me while I was away. I have just arrived home to find Mac & Max so well looked after, they were very happy and Mac our dog had not dug one hole, which he normally does if I am away and I get the neighbour to feed him. Could you please pass on my thanks to Pam, she has done a fantastic job looking after them & I know now I can leave them at home and have a holiday without the worry of - are they all right and will my backyard be dug up when I get back ?? What a wonderful and caring person. Arnie has had undivided and loving attention these 2 weeks, I think he thought all his birthdays had come at once. My cat Chino is unusual in that he is very 'needy' and loves company and human affection. She sits with him each day and leaves me notes about his various behaviours and how he's been. I know she does a great job of looking after him because when he's always quite relaxed and certainly not 'attention starved' when I get home! I really appreciate the extra lengths she goes to because it gives me great peace of mind when I am away. I was unsure about leaving Minnie as I had just had her life long companion put down and Minnie is scared of most people. I was so happy to come home to a happy cat who had finally put on some weight! All my instructions were followed and it was nice of Sonia to leave me a note to let me know how things went. Also reassuring to receive e-mails with updates about how the pets have been (and delivered with humour. - Ruth, Brighton Jan has been absolutely fantastic with our pets, cats and guinea pigs. She is extremely thoughtful, caring and goes the extra mile without being asked. For instance, there was one day when it was pouring cats and dogs (no pun intended) and one of the cats "Midnight" was outside and not answering Jan's call when she came to feed them. Out of concern for Midnight's wellbeing, Jan returned later that night and lo and behold, Midnight was waiting to be let in. Jan is more than a carer of our pets now, we consider her a good friend too. In our view, Jan deserves to be nominated for the MAD award. Her service has been so good that we have been singing the praises of Lonely Pets Club to our friends. - Shankar, Forest Hill Excellent! - Pam, Kew Heidi is FANTASTIC!! I am a 'pathetic sooky' cat owner who hates leaving her cat when I go away, with Heidi looking after her, I do not worry and know that she is in good, loving hands. This vote is a little bit late as we should have done it in February. Danielle cared for our pets in January while we were on holidays over the holiday period. We can enjoy our holiday knowing that Blacky is well taken care of. - JoAnne, Glen Iris Excellent. This is the second time we have used Danielle and she is great. She cares for Max like he is her own. This puts my mind at peace whether I am away on a business or holiday. She does not take offence to the reminders I leave behind and the frequent text messages I send. I would never leave Max with anyone I did not trust or ask for anyone I was not happy with. I am very happy for Danielle to look after Max anytime. I am sure Max feels the same way since he kept waiting for someone to come home when both mummy and daddy were home. So one can only assume he was waiting for Danielle. We highly recommend Danielle for the award. - Preetika, Rowville Fiona, was awesome..... what a champ. A true friend to our cat MILO, who just adores her ! She made our Holiday good, as we knew MILO was being cared for, and was given daily updates on how he was going. Thanks Fiona ! - Susie,Carnegie Excellent- Melissa cared for our two boxers while we were away at Easter. After meeting Melissa and having her met Bonnie and Harvey, I trusted her to look after them. Having her feed and walk them while we were away certainly mad for a much more relaxing holiday. - Alan, Ballarat Our service was fantastic. Our 3 cats are usually a bit stressed and very anxious to see us when we have had neighbours feed them. kerryn fussed over them and looked after all their needs. Moses is a bit timid and she even fed him in the hallway as he wouldn’t walk past her to his bowl. On our return the 3 cats were relaxed and hardly seemed to have noticed we were gone - from their house!!! Kerryn took wonderful care our of 'kids' and we would not hesitate to use your service and Kerryn again. - Sharon and Craig, Berwick Suzanne has been fantastic. Apart from walking my dog, she always fills the water bowl , brings him a bone, plays with the cat and puts our rubbish bins away. Last weekend we asked her at late notice to feed and walk the dog on a Saturday and she readily agreed. - Andrew, Aspendale I am back from holiday and would like to say how pleased we were with your services. Your carer Cheryl was wonderful, she had an obvious genuine love for animals and did a brilliant job with our cat who was not stressed at all. Both pets love her, she is reliable and responsible. Suzanne brings our bins in, plays with the cat and fills the dog’s water bowl. She brings the dog bones and tidies up his yard. Once again our animals were happy to see us when we got home, but showed very little signs of stress (which I am sure was just a result of not having us home!).
